Big Apple BBQ Vendor
This past weekend they held a big BBQ at Madison Square park. BBQ pitmasters were invited from all over the country. They were raising money Madison Square Park Conservancy. I personally think someone loves BBQ and decided to keep up with annual party. $8 for medium size plates are not cheap, but I won’t complain. It was a nice sunny saturday with the smell of BBQ all around. The good food for a couple of hours made it a very nice day back from the bay area. We tried some Ribs from Pappy’s Smokehouse (St. Louis), hot sausage’s from Jim ‘N Nick’s and BBQ sandwich from Stubbs. Turnout was good saturday and since it rained on Sunday, I am sure glad we made a day of it on Saturday. There was music playing in the park with many folks sitting on their blankets with BBQ in hands. The summer brings NY to live with events like this all the time. Just wish there was more BBQ events…..
